Technological developments can often be generic in nature and it can be difficult to customise them to create specific solutions for individual clients. As a smaller, independent provider our clients are our most cherished assets and we believe any technology solution we deliver should offer the precise functionality they need.

Our fusion of technology and bespoke service is unique in the pre-media industry. The technologies we have developed position our clients in the production loop so, for instance, with our web-based services such as Spinnaker, Pageplanner and PS Planner our clients have the ability to interact with the production process in a very real and positive way.

Axiom is our advertising management system built around an initial core from the Axiom MIS system. Keenes have expanded the system to incorporate internal job/file management, version control and client reporting to become the front-end system for clients, contact staff and operators.

Pageplanner is our magazine production management system and is entirely built at Keenes. Like Spinnaker it puts the client in the driving seat by keeping them notified of all developments within the production process. It gives the client a heads-up display of their work including flatplan management, sectioning, proof annotation and version control. Additionally there is a version for book-jacket production management.

PSplanner is our photographic suite management system. Again, this is a one- site system for clients, photographers and internal staff to interact. Clients can quickly track status of shoots and see previews whilst the site also provides access to digital archives from which high or low resolution images can be downloaded.

We have innovated many solutions for clients - database based publishing, automatic artwork creation and publication specification management are just a few examples - and our expertise in building content management, artwork management and image database solutions has been recognised by some of the industry’s leading manufacturers who have asked us to test their own latest developments.

We take protection of your work and our own systems very seriously. Our sites are protected by the best in anti-virus and anti-malicious email protection and we regularly review our systems having them audited by third party security organisations. We operate closely monitored backup policies across our servers and in the unlikely event of a failure we have written and tested procedures for system failure recovery.
